Wild clay landscape platter
Looking out my studio window I see the cleared land with the the forests leading down the hill. The distant mountains shimmer blue.
The clay I used for this platter was wild clay that I dug up just outside my studio here in Kinglake. A wombat had dug the clay up from deep beneath the ground!
This platter would be ideal as a sharing platter.
The plate is glazed on the top, while the bottom is left raw. The plates surface is textured from the canvas used to make it.
Approx 33cm x 19cm
This is a handmade piece and does not have industrial perfection.
The glaze used on this plate is food safe and lead free.
